Biography
Tom Eismin is a Professor in the Department of Aviation Technology at Purdue University. Professor Eismin specializes in the study of aircraft electrical, electronic and avionics systems. He has conceived and developed many distinctive training aids that, due to their unique nature, provide students with educational opportunities unavailable at other institutions. He has made significant contributions in course and curriculum development. He developed and implemented several new courses, and made extensive course revisions. He also conceived and designed many laboratory materials and equipment. He was responsible for the development of the newly equipped AT 375 laboratory at the Statewide site at Indianapolis in 1994. Tom Eismin has written several instructional materials. The main text, now in its 5th edition, has captured 73% of the domestic market and is distributed in six foreign countries.
