If you are a School of Technology student (student officially majoring
in an SOT program):
-
You must obtain your TCN Career account to access many of the pages in
this web site as well as the labs in Knoy Hall as they require the use
of a TCN login and password. You will need your Purdue Student ID and your
Purdue Career ID (click
here for information on obtaining your Purdue Career ID) to gain access
to this information.
-
If you have your Purdue Student ID and your Purdue Career ID, access the
following site to obtain your TCN Career Account information: https://www.tech.purdue.edu/tcn/information/accounts/
Note that TCN Career Account information is generated based upon
information provided by the Registrar. If your information is being withheld
by the Registrar, an account cannot be generated until the information
is released by the Registrar. If the link above does not provide information
for you, you may need to contact the Registrar to determine why your student
information has not been forwarded to TCN.
If you find the TCN Career Account information database does not
find an entry for you, you may use a temporary account to temporarily gain
access to the pages in this site, as well as the TCN labs. Email your professor
to find out what the temporary account login and password is. The temporary
account login does not have file storage space and will only be active
for the first 3 weeks of the semester. Thus you will need to resolve any
outstanding issues and gain your own personal TCN Career Account information
before the third week of the semester.
-
Once you have your TCN Career Account login and password, if you are prompted
for a login, password and domain while browsing this site, enter your TCN
Career Account login and password. Use SOT for the domain. You can also
use this information to log into the TCN laboratories in Knoy Hall.
If you are not a School of Technology student (not a student officially
majoring in an SOT program):
-
You need to obtain a temporary, TCN Semester Account. See the professor
or the lab instructor to obtain one. Typically these are available at the
first laboratory meeting.
If you are a regional or statewide faculty member:
-
You must use the PST login for access to the site.
