Given departmental policies, the test out option for the course requires that
a student take a written examination with a score of 80% or above. The examination
includes multiple choice questions that test the student's knowledge of theory
information, while essay and short answer questions require that the student
generate xHTML and CSS code, as well as XML and JavaScript.
Qualifications
You may attempt the test out if you have not already received a grade for the
course. However, it is highly recommended that you examine all the materials
contained in this site before making that determination as you may only attempt
the test out once. To be able to take the exam at the predetermined time,
you must bring a signed form #231 and a picture ID with you to the test out
and present it upon entering the exam room.
If you plan on attempting the test out you MUST email
Professor Glotzbach , indicating your desire to test out, by 5:00 PM on the day BEFORE the test out exam is to be given. In the email you must include your full name and whether you are
enrolled in CGT 141 or C&IT 141. Please include "141 Test Out" in the subject of your email. Late emails will not be accommodated.
