Using Rowspanning

The example below shows how you can have a data cell span more than one row. Using the COLSPAN attribute for the second row's data cell allows it to extend below both images. ROWSPAN works exactly the same way except that the data cell spans multiple rows instead of multiple columns.

Additionally, in the code you will see the CELLPADDING and CELLSPACING attributes for the <TABLE> tag being used. CELLPADDING increases the space between the cell's contents and its border. CELLSPACING increases the spaceing between cells.
