Charades

To play charades either buy a box game of charades or make your own.

To make your own:

  • Take flash cards (you can cut them in half to use them more efficiently)
  • On the flash cards write various objects, movies, famous people, and anything else you think can be acted out.
  • Divide the group of people into teams of two or more making sure you have at least two teams.
  • Each team gets a turn to pick a card and a member of the team acts out the card without talking while the remaining members try to guess. (A timer is probably necessary to keep the game moving and to keep it fair. You can decide how long to allow each team to guess)
  • After so many turns or after a certain amount of time the team who has guessed the most cards right wins!

Tips:

You can even make your games themed to a certain topic when you make your own cards.
