Mission Statement
The Mission of the Cedar Lake Yacht Club is to encourage and promote sailing and related social activities on Big Cedar Lake through volunteerism.
To accomplish our Mission we will
- Develop, train, and maintain the best sailors in the ILYA.
- Teach the fundamentals of recreational sailing to interested youth and adults.
- Develop, train, and maintain professional Race Committees.
- Provide social activities for sailors, their families, and for the "friends of sailors."
- Encourage, facilitate, and promote volunteerism in Yacht Club events.
- Maintain one of the best yacht club facilities in the ILYA.
