The Drivetrain is pretty self explaintory. The drivetrain includes everything that transfers power from the engine to the wheels, including the transmission. Basic drivetrain modifications include short throw shifters, which shorten the distance that you need to move the shift knob to switch gears. Another basic drivetrain modification is transmission mounts, these hold the transmission steady when shifting to reduce transmission play in harsh driving conditions.

More advances drivetrain modifications include clutch and flywheel kits which will make the car accelerate much faster and reduce clutch slipping. Also, gear kits can be installed to change the gear ratios for more aggresive driving.
